That picture should be on the front page of the Seattle Times / P-I. That would make some tremble, wet themselves and forget who they are for an hour.
Looks like my M-1 carbine. High-wood stock, non-adjustable sight, no bayonet lug. |

I think you have the cover shot for your next year's calendar...the Children of Washington Hometown!! " Future Marines are shown raising the flag over Mount AR-ibachi in this 2005 Howitzer Prize winning photograph. Although the sight of the flag flying high over the range gave a morale boost to the beleaguered 1GR, the shooting below would continue for another 11 long hours before the LCR was secure." |
