The Wally World by work (Irving) has started once again carrying the 420 round can of Federal XM193 on stripper clips.   Priced at $164.
I added 2 to my collection and left one for some lucky individual.

Sweet - I own pg 37.

Academy on Brodie & 290 in Austin has about 10-15 boxes of Ten Ring 9mm/115 gr clearance priced at 10.99 a box, there's also .40 and .45. I didn't price the .40 but the .45 was roughly 13 bucks a box.

There was also a bunch of DRT 20 round boxes also marked for sale...I think 13 bucks for the 9mm

It's kinda hidden in plain sight. As you approach the sporting goods section, there is a center island where the ammo is.

Today, I paid $145 for 500 .223 55 gr FMJ and $60 for 200 .45 ACP 230gr FMJ at Orr Tactical in Needville. WWW.orrtactical.com. The powder they use is very clean and I have been happy with their ammo.

Al and Rod are great guys. Both retired marines and have always treated my wife and me great.

Cabela's Ft Worth has a shelf full of 22LR. The only sale item I saw was some Norma target ammo that was $20 off the price of a brick.  I'm not a precision shooter, but for those who are, it seems a good sale price and I believe is only "in store".

I don't know how often their website is updated, so...

About a year ago, they would not sell me Federal LE buckshot and slugs because I am not an LEO.

But they did sell me XM193 on Friday.

The lady at the cash register (hadn't seen her before so I am guessing she was new) the other day had to ask someone whether I was allowed to buy Speer Lawman ammo since I am not an LEO.  Answer must've been yes because she sold it to me.

I remember when they were at their old location and you had to show LE or .mil credentials to get in the door.

Our costco in Plano has the same deal.  These are Made in China cans but for military contract, and are excellent quality.  Great deal.

Bass Pro in Grapevine has an endcap FULL of Federal 22LR Automatch AM22 - $20 for 325 rounds, which is 6.15 cents per round.

Not a terrible price and I have had excellent results with that ammo.

Area WalMarts have been getting in several boxes of the 1000 round packs of Winchester M22 - for $51, or 5.1 cents per round as well.  I have picked up several in the past few days.

Sportsman's Guide has 1,000 rounds of Wolf 9mm, steel cased, 115 grain for $122.99 (club member price) or less than $160 for non-members.

With the shenanigans going on recently, this is a the lowest you'll see for a long while.

I'm in North DFW area (Plano, Mckinney, Frisco).

I have a fair bit of Monarch 5.45x39mm and PPU 8mm Mauser that I don't have rifles for anymore.

I would be willing to trade for factory .308/7.62x51mm, round per round, if anyone is in need.
