We try to get as many "Go Texan" products as possible when we buy groceries.
Also shop at farmers markets. Buy beef (side of) from local ranchers. Or split a steer with family. Shiner. 
Talked the wife into my STI that I ordered before she knew about it! Eyeballing some Larue stuff when the wife is not around. |

Tito's vodka has sold out. It is no longer a Texas company. Try Dripping Springs vodka instead. It is also better than Tito's.

Earl Campbell does make some damned good sausage... I also like Meyer's out of Elgin and Opas out of Fredericksburg. There is so much good sausage made in Texas there is no reason to ever buy crappy "imported" sausage. I also wholeheartedly recommend: Wild Type Ranch... If you go to a big box store (Home Depot, Walmart, Lowes) to buy flowers, trees, or shrubs. Look at the label to ensure you're buying plants grown in Texas. Even though the big stores get a bite out of it, there are a lot of local guys who sell to them, and those guys buy stuff from me.
Of course, you should always frequent you independent garden centers first to help even more of your money stay in Texas. And if you go through the Go Texan website, there's listings of retailers and wholesalers in Texas. AND There's even a Texas Superstar program recommending certain plants and shrubs, that are ideally suited for Texas and locally grown.
