I am a huge fan of McMiller. I'd love to come with you guys but I have the Kane Co gunshow, as Snojet knows. I went to McMiller once and loved it. Reminds me of Fox Valley in the early 80's. You can load up as many rounds as you want but no rapid fire and the range officers are very diligent, which is good. I give McMiller 5 stars.
Before everyone stars asking, it's in Eagle, WI. 20 miles north of Lake Geneva. Be respectful of their facility, good guys. Owned by Wisconsin DNR. |

Dam it, I always have something going that I can't get out of when your all going!
I was out there last Sunday with my kid, and was breaking in my new 6.5mm Grendel AR, really sweet! Does anyone know why at McMiller's the 300 yrd range is not open? I keep on forgeting to ask them. |

How has the 6.5 Grendel shot? Did you get a chance to test it out to 300 yards? |

She Shoots really sweet! No have not gone beyond the 100yrds yet. They have not opened the 300yrd range yet, guess I heard there are some EPA issues. Thats what really sux about around here no where to shoot!
Let me give you some feedback I got from someone I sold a Grendel to: -------------------------------------------------- The Grendel complete upper assembly (which I have mounted on a Bushmaster Pre-ban lower) shot GREAT. I fired it out to 200 yds during a gusting 40 mph wind yeaterday. Even so groups were minute of angle (MOA). On a calmer day (the wind always blows here in West Texas, I believe it would have and will shoot sub-MOA. With such a variety of quality firearms, I never thought that I would say that if I only could keep one firearm, it would be the Grendel, and I really mean that! -------------------------------------------------- |
