At one point the news said that 2.4million gallons of gas was effected by the fire. I guessed that the average sized gas tank of cars on the street is 15 gallons(that was my average guess trying to factor in a few things). If my math is correct, then that would be like filling 160K cars with gas. There were already people filling up gas cans at the Quicktrip at I-29 and Barry Rd..

I saw the smoke plume, through the heavy rain, at friggin midnight, all the over from southbound 435.

Good thing I have the bike to ride, if this rain ever stops, cause I can see them locally raising the price on gas, due to 'panic buyers' even if that gas has nothing to do with auto gas, which it probably doesn't.

Remember a couple years ago when something else when up in flames in the bottoms, and they were worried about toxic rain and zombies?  I'm not 100% about the toxic rain, but I killed a shit ton of zombies for a few days then.  They claimed to be 'homeless people'.  Yeah right.  Although, I thought zombies could only groan and say Braaaaaiiiinnnnnsssss.  Oh well. Maybe it's zombie killing time again!

It is about 2.4 million gallions of unleaded fuel. The tank is part of a distribuition center for area gas stations. Im guessing prices will jump in the next 24-48 hours.

I just heard some guy from Magellen>sp say there was only 1.5million gallions of unleaded fuel. Either way there WAS 1.5 to 2.5 million gallions of unleaded fuel.
