Are any of you familiar with this range? I just bought some property down the road on RT.193 from there and I was going to make my own range. I figured if this place was decent, I would just join there instead. It appears they are class 3 friendly so I figured black rifles wouldn't be a problem.  Has anyone had any past experience with this place?

I'm a part owner + member. Check out the website, and feel free to use me as a contact to the club board - best friend of mine is the treasurer and handles memberships.

The range is awesome! As long as you're safe, you can pretty much shoot what you please on a variety of ranges - 25 yd, 50 yd, 100 yd, 200 yd, 600 yd... archery range...

We have club picnics every year, big Christmas party w/ gun giveaways, group hunts where we release 50 pheasants for three Saturdays in a row, etc.

You can hunt, fish in the pond, camp, train your dogs, shoot clays, whatever.

I like it a lot

SSA is a great place to shoot - I bring youngsters (and girls) to the place and teach them all the time. This Saturday I'm doing a pistol training for some officers from Cleveland PD.

Here's a link to the website. The webmaster doesn't always keep it up day-to-day, but he usually tries to update on the major points.
