I scored.

I ended up with a new CZ 452 Varmint .22LR bolt action rifle. Now I just need to lop off the barrel and thread it!

Mmmm...can you hear the silence now!?

I also picked up:

  • A .22LR loader for my Buckmark

  • Some new .22LR ammo

  • An Oly carbine length free float tube for an unannounced AR project

  • An Oly charging hand for the aforementioned project

  • An extra pitted barrel for my USP 40. I might try to get this one threaded.

  • A cool little single CR123 135 lumen flashlight by Fenix.

500 rounds of .40 S&W
440 rounds of 7.62 x 54R
250 rounds of 9 x 18 Makarov
holster for a CZ 82

Buying ammo gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside.

Cool CZ!  I must agree that it needs a can on the end of it!  That will be uber spooky quiet.

How much was the fenix.  Thats a cool little light!

I didn't go to the show, but I bought a bunch of G-17 mags, another G-18 mag, and 1K of 5.45 on line yesterday.

To be honest, I didn't come up with the plan myself. I actually save Dave B.'s at TCGC and loved it.

Yeah, after I got home I still spent another $250 on stuff I didn't find at the show.

I went there looking for a ar15 chamber brush and possibly ammo if saw some at a decent price. I ended up with this, Oct of 1943 and correct barrel, excellent wood. I got there early Friday with my father. The look on the guys faces as I swiped up this bad boy was priceless. I asked the old man to hold it for me while I gathered funds. He hid it under the table. When I came back and he pulled it out the show was pretty full, a swarm of men gathered around the Garand asking how much. You should have seen the tears streaming down their faces when he said sold.

While walking around the show looking for clips, I had 10 people ask me about it, one guy yelling from 4 rows over "YOU WITH THE GARAND"... It was great.

The best thing is my father has the same year and they will end up with my boys someday so they will have a matching pair of 1943 Garands.

Nice score, mhpoole!

I got a rifle case so I don't have to cram my AR into a bolt-action case at PR anymore.  A cheap magnifying glass for gun cleaning, some other cool trinkets from that place that sells the medical/surplus stuff.

No one had the Springfield EMP.  Keith's said whenever they get one in, it sells immediately and Springfield seems to be backlogged.  Mrs Hartmann did however try the Kimber Ultra Carry II and the ergonomics were perfect for her....and of course that sweet Kimber trigger.  We almost bought on the spot but decided to wait until we could test the EMP.  She did try the S&W M&P and ruled it out.  Even with the "small" grips installed, the ergonomics just don't work for her.

Oh I got a hot dog too.  And a handshake from Cape!

I couldnt find anyone to go with.

How much was 5.45x39 ammo in bulk there?

[#15]

I went early Friday.

8 boxes of 223 40gr Federal Nosler ~$7/box of 20
3 boxes of 223 HSM 60gr Vmax ~$20/box of 50
2 TALL 50 cal ammo cans ~$10 each
1 colt front side sling mount ~$38 ouch
1 Hogue 10/22 stock ~$59
100 223 stripper clips ~$8
1000 rounds of Miwall 230gr FMJ 45acp ~$180

I looked and looked for CAPE since he said he would have a polo shirt with CAPE on the sleeve, but I never spotted him........since he gave no clue as to what table or type of table he runs I had no clue......maybe next time

Nice 452 NoAim, I got the same thing with a Weaver V-24 on it.  The best thing I did to it was put a Brooks spring in the trigger.
He is a vendor on Rimfirecentral.com. Best 9 bucks I ever spent, besides that time in TJ

What would that do? It already has a great trigger pull. Overtravel is a bit much and it's not quite "crisp", but it's definitely nice.

Under 2 pound pull. Makes my VQ pack in my 10-22 seem like like low grade dog shit.

Oh and a letherman multi tool as well.

Had fun and Keith paid for dinner at Outback so life is good.
