Those tires peeking through the door look like The Green Dog's. She back in action?

Speaking of building things. How's that woodburner doing? Any photos of that in action?

Looks nice. Where are the tie downs at?  Are you/ can you haul your backhoe on it behind your pickup without problems?

I have a tandem axle also that I'm working on right now upside down in the garage. I'm building it on the cheap. Found the axles for $15 each and most of the steel for $200.

Here is the 24'x 1"thick AR400 wheel and 1" A572 backing plate for the stump grinder.

That Mutt would make a fine meal.

My Brother in Law builds Riceburner  cars(I stand around ,watch, and make fun of him), mostly to race, but he decided he wanted to try and do something a little different and build a Street Legal one.

Anyway the State Patrol guy gut a hardon  about this one because there is only one more like it in the US and there is a Lawsuite pending...(he only used the shell, and dash, the rest is out of an American car). You think there are lots of stupid laws for building a Rifle, try building a Car from the ground up.

I believe if you get a copy of Hemming's Motor News, you can find advertisements for titling services in states like Alabama.  Many old-car guys build funky shit and can find a way to get a Radio Flyer wagon registered as a 1975 Buick Skylark or some shit like that.  Maybe you can have a Nissan Silvia that's really a 1955 DeSoto on paper.

A few years ago, there was an article in Motor Trend about a sprint car driver who turned an obsolete, non-competitive sprint car into a street legal "Ford Model T".  The thing was, only the VIN plate and the horn were Henry Ford's.  The rest was pure sprint car.  Funny thing was this was in San Diego, CA.

It's all about loopholes and gray-areas.  Unlike the ATF, usually no dogs are shot over automotive paperwork.

I don't think he is having a problem getting it titled/registered. He is just having to wait 3 weeks before he can get it done.

R-32

I know a bunch of people with RHD vehicles in the US that have had no problems being registered, including skylines. In fact i also had a RHD vehicle at one time, before i got smart

I didnt know that you had to call up and set up an appointment for State Patrol, i thought you could just show up....Well at least thats how it was a few years ago. I went to the main Bellevue location and they had no problem taking me that day, and same with my dad and his trailer. Maybe things have changed.

Couldn't he just call it a 240SX and save himself a bunch of trouble?  Is that drifty-ricey thing still headed for the movies?
ETA- is he exempt from emissions checks?

My tangent was more for R-32.  1GR will have to keep the WSP from falling asleep while inspecting the trailer.  The rice-rocket will provide the WSP with endless entertainment--long after inspection.

Thanks for the heads up. But I don't know how long it will take to put it together, I have other projects that keep popping up. Also I have known for a few years that you have to have an appointment and it takes the lazy assed WSP about 4 weeks to get you in.

A few years ago, I also was passed the first time I went in all loaded up just to find out I have to have an appt.
