greetings from the peoples' republic of kalifornia!!

hey me and a couple buddies will be coming out for the SAR. wondering what is kewl to do and see in the phoenix area. also wondering where i could pick up some fireworks as well. of i course i would never bring them back to kalifornia.

Fireworks? No chance in AZ as they are illegal. Lordsburg, New Mexico is the closest you will find them from phx IMO. there is a really good stand @ a truck stop on I-10. Its open all year around. Good prices as well.

There is always Mexico, but then, of course, you would "never bring them back to kalifornia" or Arizona). Crossing points are Tucson, Douglas, Yuma and Ajo. All just as close as Lordsburg. But, then, You have Tijuana. By the way, how about a safe remote party with tannerite? KaBooom!!!

We'll be there. I'm trying to get some .50 cal stuff from the folks that make them for the Gov to show off. LAst year was very cool and this year should be too...

wondering where i could pick up some fireworks

Well in my neck of the woods(Bullhead City) the Indians have'um. Avi casino and smoke shop. Kind of out of the way though.

well bummer about the fireworks. i sure there will be other things there that i could not normally get in the prk. hey this is my first time to sar, is there anything i should bring (besides alot of cash hehe) or expect?
