You might look at a used HS Precision stock from a 700 VS or a 700 PSS, they have a Alu. bedding block in them and are very stiff. Natchez Shooters supply sells them new also. later, Wayne

VS stock wont work for the long action 30.06. You would need the Sendero Stock or a long action 700p stock. I agree that either of these would be better than the stock you have linked. I had one....its a heavy son of a bitch

Yeah but heavy is good. If you don't want a bad kick. And I don't think i'll be doing alot of running with it. |
