I had a email in my inbox this morning from "Silentium, LLC". Said they were a GA based company selling gun parts/ammo/mags/ect..

Who owns Silentium, LLC? I figure if they are selling AR parts somebody on here has to know who is running it.

I hate unsolicited SPAM e-mails and would never do business with a company that sent out such messages. It's one thing if you've done business with a company and they send you a specials type message but to send something to someone "cold" without a prior relationship sucks in my book. I also hate whoever provided the e-mail list. That's BS.

My .02 anyway.

Caver, you have his info in your IM box. I dont know the fella, sounds like he started up 1st quarter of this year though from what I saw.

I have done business in the past with Rob to buy some ammo. I got the same email today, but didn't realize that all of the HTF received it. That is nuts.

I didnt get the email.... so far it looks like he sent one to a customer and somebody else in the business.

Don't get me wrong, I am not mad I got the email - I was just curious who he was.

His prices looked like MSRP. Did not see any good deals or much of a selection.

I didn't get it either.

I like getting emails with interesting things in them that I may actually buy, assuming they have a website or catalog I can look at. I'm a bigtime skeptic and don't like getting ripped off.

It's the emails to make my breasts larger or my penis erect that make me want to be able to reply with a thermo-nuclear email that blows up on them.

Turns out it was not spam. Rob and I had talked back earlier in the year when I had a can for sale on here. Not sure of his user name. IMO, seems like a good guy to me.

I have met this guy before. He sells his ammo and pmags at the local gun shows. He is a fulton county resident and is a nice guy. He gave me great service when I bought some ammo off him a while back.

I would do business with him again. He also lists his ammo for sale on the EE.

Its me...I sent the newsletter out to a couple hundred people that had bought stuff from me or that I had chatted with on email about gun stuff in the past year or so. Sorry if you saw it as spam and I would be happy to take your name off the list.

I didn't want to post anything here because of their strict adveritising fees. I believe its about $600 a year. Down the road I will look into it.
