After shooting at Tom Bean I saw someone with what I think was a .45 suppressed pistol. I have one for my .22 and MAC, But Id really like to get a normal pistol sized one....For those of you who have shot them...how happy are you with them...I would but the (mm on a Sig 228 and the .45...well Id go but a HK Tactical or something and use that....thanks for the Input....

And as a sidenote I really enjoyed meeting a lot of you out there......

Stryker. Glad you enjoy the shoot. Couple things you might consider:
1. .45 ammo (230 grains) is basically subsonic ammo and reloading help greatly when shooting .45 ammo.
2. 9mm is quieter but you have to use subsonic ammo (147 or 158 grains subsonic) to achieve the desired suppressed effect.

I carry my 1911 so 45 can is the way to go eventhough I also have 9mm can.

At an avg 950-1100 fps, suppressing a .45ACP is a much better effect.

I thought a .45 would be better...I had heard some say that since .45 is a bigger hole it would be harder to suppress...but I am happy with my .45 Coastal shooting 9mm out of it....

I knew the "Both" reply was going to pop up too...
