I have found a dealer that has used Beretta 92FS in stock with two mags for $319 plus shipping. They rate them as good condition. I really don't need another gun right now but I think that's a good deal. What do you say?

No... that's a risky buy.  You should probably tell me where it is and I'll take the risk of buying it

All I will say for now this dealer just sent out an ad with this pricing. I am awaiting a phonecall back to get better discription of what he thinks "good" is. Either way I decide I will post the dealer once I make my mind up.

All I have to say is, I sure wish I knew where it was and I would buy it!

If you do buy it and decide to sell it, send me an IM and I will take it! (((I hope this last sentence does not violate and rules or get this thread locked)))

Without seeing a photo of the actual gun, I would be careful about buying a used handgun graded as "GOOD" ... IIRC, NRA rating for GOOD means about 75% finish. From google search ...Definition of GOOD used modern gun:  " In safe working condition, minor wear on working surfaces, no broken parts, no corrosion or pitting that will interfere with proper functioning."

So a used gun could have some rust and pitting and still be classified as GOOD as long as those rust and pittings do not interfere with proper functioning.

Just spoke with supplier. He told me that "good" means some holster wear but no rust or damage to gun. I have told the FFL to get it done. Problem is he is not reg with them as a customer. So he has faxed paperwork to them to get this done. Should be good to go within the hour. As soon as it's done I will turn everyone on to this supplier.

Well he finally got thru their process and was told they have sold them all out. DAMN. It was Zanders out of Illinois. He was put on a waiting list for the next shipment. They told him they get them in quite regularly. So I guess I will have to wait. Sorry for getting everyones hopes up.

I can't reach the trigger on a 92, so I wouldn't buy it.
