So i got to shoot an ACR this week.  My swat team is testing out some new guns and we've been shooting mostly pistols in .45 but the bossman got his hands on an ACR so we shot that as well. Recoil is very soft and it feels really solid in the hands.  The stock takes a bit to get used to, but its not bad.  I could do without the front iron sight but im not so sure it really matters since i would put a rds on there as a primary sighting system.  All in all i thought it was pretty nice although the price tag is obscene and there isn't a full auto version yet, i wouldn't mind carrying one.  I think we are going to get a SCAR to shoot as well some time in the future.

For the record, this is my first time shooting a gas piston system on an AR platform so i can't really compare it to a more traditional AR with a gas/piston upper.

my buddy has one and ran it through a recent pat rogers class and said the only problem he had was a stove pipe, which I'm sure was due to the ammo
