Sen Leland Yee was scheduled for sentencing Oct. 21, 2015. I cannot find any info online about his sentence or if it has been postponed. Anyone know what's happening?

Postponed. Let me go find the date. ETA. December 16th I hope law and justice gets an early Christmas present. I'd bet a very light sentence and a release for the election cycle after next. I'll give even money he gets re-elected as a convicted felon. |
|
The date was changed due to additional charges, it's unclear if the additional chargers are against him or shrimp boy. Let's hope for both.

I remember that d*ckhead when he was running for school board. |

A real jerk off named Joe Ganim, who was the mayor of Bridgeport CT for a good number of years was convicted of multiple felonies, bribery, bid rigging and others I'm sure I missed. He did 7 years fed time, and low and behold, he was just re elected to the same seat he held before. Great country we live in. Hopefully this POS gets some good time handed down. |

So he goes away to the Federal Pound in the Behind Prison, and just two days before the release of the new Star Wars movie. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Bump for 12/16 report. So he goes away to the Federal Pound in the Behind Prison, and just two days before the release of the new Star Wars movie. Good. He can't see it in a public theatre. |

Found a blurb in the Sacramento Bee that says his hearing has been postponed until February.

It sounds like he was lowest dirtbag on the pole and is likely taking a lot of counts from others higher up the political food chain.

I know I don't live in California anymore, but Leland Yee is a personal matter to me that I'm not going to readily forget. Hopefully, he gets sentenced to federal prison where he will be...tenderly loved.

A bad employee wrote him and complained how I was violating his "civil rights" and a whole bunch of other sh*t. That impressed me with how stupid Yee was if he could be conned so easily. |

I don't even live in the state and I am following this. It's almost like they will just keep pushing it later and later, hoping people will forget about it, and he is let go with time served.

it will get bumped again.
I wont forget though. I'm still waiting for more of the gun grabbing idiots to end up in jail. Really hoping they catch DeLeon on something. He's got a computer full of kiddie porn I just know it! |

My guess is that deals are being made. Lets see who rats out who, I'm hopping De Leon goes down. Fingers crossed!!! View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Prosecutors announced they will seek 8 years for Leland Yee.

As a convicted felon is he still able to hold office in California ... or is that a requirement for running in the first place

A federal district judge sentenced former state Sen. Leland Yee, a San Francisco Democrat, to five years in prison Wednesday for trading political favors for campaign contributions. He was also fined $20,000.
Yee admitted in a plea deal that he was part of a racketeering conspiracy that involved exchanging official acts for money, conspiring to traffic in weapons and money laundering. Specifically, Lee promised an undercover FBI agent favors in return for campaign contributions. During the hourlong proceedings, Yee asked the court for leniency in light of his public humiliation, his wife’s severe illness, his admissions of wrongdoing and his past record of public service. View Quote Leniency because of his public service? How about twice as long for breaking the public trust to serve as a warning to the other asshole pay-for-play politicians? |

Imagine if they applied that elsewhere... Sure he raped little kids but due to his years as a 3rd grade teacher we decided show leniency. |

its funny how we don't see anything about this on the TV and hear about it on the radio. If it was one of us regular JOES it would be all over the news
