IM/email me for more details

Guys, I am truly sorry but I started this whole thing before I was ready.  Everyone wanted a list and after much hounding I just whipped one out without thinking of the ramifications.  I know I have the guns and gear but I simply can't find everything I need in my storage units.  Everything is so disorganized I can not find many parts and pieces nor can I really get at them since I can't even enter the units they are so packed.  You can ask uafgrad if you don't believe me, he has seen them just recently. The guns I am shooting at the range are simply the ones I could get at since they are the last things I shoved into one of the units so they were at the front.  I can't locate some of the magazines, tools, nor get at some of the guns unless I pull everything out which is monumental and I only have so much time left during this vacation - not enough.

Sig40fan - I am trying like heck to find the rest of the accessories that go to the item you want and if I can find them by tomorrow, I'll bring it down with me when I hit Anchorage this weekend.  This is something we worked out over a year ago so I am going to try my best.

There may be a few other pieces I can bring down but I don't even know if I'll be able to hook up with everyone I wanted to while I am down there.

This vacation in town will end for me in another couple weeks and that time is pretty packed as I prepare to go to work for another 7 to 9 months straight, hopefully for the last time like that.  All the guns I had on my list aren't going anywhere, they will be there when I get back but I can't access them while I am out of town.  I need to spend about a month (no joke) reorganizing my storage units (may be able to come back in the winter to do this.  Once that is done, I will be able to locate everything and put the list back out.  Those who asked for specific items I will keep in mind the next time the list comes out - I will not offer anything to anyone out of asking order.

I'm truly sorry and regret my hasty actions, I did not realize I would have so much difficulty.  We can continue to talk about the items but I simply cannot deliver on them until next year.  I won't take any money for anything or seal any deals until I know I can get it together and deliver.  I'll probably be down in Anchorage again next year so I should be able to bring items if I have gotten organized by then.

MOD:  No money has changed hands nor have any deals been finalized so no one has been really screwed but me.  I won't be making this mistake again.  I'm hoping my anguish is greater than any I may have caused.

BTW:  Guys, I won't have my computer with me when I'm down in Anchorage from 26-29th so I'll probably be out of email contact unless I find a kiosk to log on to.

I have seen Miks guns and have a copy of the list

I can confirm that the guns are in as good or better condition than stated.
I have bought a gun or two and we recently did a multi gun swap.
Mike is a great guy to deal with

If he would just let me babysit his NFA collection when he is working, he would be stupendous

I expect to find all the accessories for the item you already tagged (I kept it off the list).

I'm not looking for anything specific but I'm always interested in trade.

Nothing is free Yekimak, but you often get a lot of free stuff in deals I make.

To all:  please don't mention anything specific here in this thread - I want to keep it as benign as possible so as not to get myself or the mod in trouble.  I'm not even saying what the heck my list is about or what I am doing but I think you all know well enough.

Guys,

My list keeps changing.  The list was based on an old inventory and I keep remembering other items to add to it.  Since I first made the list available I have added at least 6 or 7 more items and I will undoubtably remember more that I forgot to add.  That's pretty sad that I see those items so little, have had them so long without being ever used that I don't even know what I have, but there you are.

Ask me for an updated listing.  No one has seen the latest version and I don't have a record of everyone who has asked but I'll try and send it out to those I can remember.

Okay, I think I mailed out the updated listing to most everyone, ask me for it if you didn't get it.  Some of the new items are mixed in so go through the entire list again. TIA.

Dang!  I just sent that list out and I already added yet another item.  Probably best to wait a few days for the next iteration or I will be forever distributing.

Sorry all...

I haven't been able to get anything priced.  My Blue Book is somewhere in my storage units which are across town.  My car is in the shop, I thought I would get it back Wednesday but I'll be lucky to get it back Saturday and I foolishly left the keys to my storage units in that car.

Then I'll bring the you-know-what.  I'm still trying to find the accessories for it but I think I know where they are.  It's really tough trying to find ANYTHING in my storage units, they are worse than they ever have been.

ETA:  I wish you still had that Sig P226 I sold you, that chrome job you had done sure was pretty.  It's important my guns be pretty, my ammo be shiney.  I would love to have traded you something back for it.

I rememberd the shotty I was recommending for you - the Benelli Super Nova with it's recoil reducing stock.  Besides that and the Knoxx Copstock, you can also get mercury filled recoil reducers that fit in the stock.  I have also seen a cool recoil reducing extension (springs) that fit on the end of the stock and has a butt pad that covers the whole thing so nothing is exposed.

A Winchester 1300 will cycle the Aguila mini shot/slug shells, I hear those rounds are popular in cowboy action shooting because of the low recoil.  You can fit a lot more of those shells in the magazine - bonus!

My Co-Pilot's not for sale but I'll let you finger & shoot it if you care to.

Yup,

Already called him.  I think he wants mostly money but he was looking for a S&W model 67 though I think he meant 629 because he said .44mag if I recall correctly and I think the 67 is .38 if I'm not mistaken, or maybe that's what he actually wanted.

I called him, sent him my list, then left a message but got no reply so go figure.

That was my original desire. SS with Parkerizing?  I liked their hard chrome but at any rate I wanted one.  It was cheaper to have them convert my own 1895SS so I bought one and did not get around to sending it to them to convert.  The Co-Pilot was so popular that it began the whole Marlin guide gun series.  I went ahead and got one of those too meaning to send it in for take down conversion and plating.  Then the SS Marlin guide gun came along.  Sigh.  I sold both my .45-70's intending to get a SS guide gun.

Over the years WWG has changed the configuration and options on the Co-Pilot, and I did hear some bad things about sights coming off and such on some of the latter guns.  I would still like a Co-Pilot or send them a SS 1895G for take down conversion and trigger work.

Then I wonder, why not go with a .450 so I can shoot both cartridges.  Perhaps even a .45 or .50 Alaskan.

It never ends...

ETA:  Here's my friend Jason Hinkle, used to work in Seward I think but has a .50 Alaskan (built by the inventor of that cartridge) and got TLG to build a .50 suppressor for his lever action.  It's an azz kicker. He's still down your way, is a mod on Subgun.com, and can obviously be quite irreverent.

Hi Mike
I'm an Idiot.
Sorry not SS but Hard Chrome.
45-70 was all it came in back then.
I am happy with 45-70 and like the idea of .410 as small game backup.
I don't like the rear iron sight. It's adjuster is only held in by the  friction of the rear sight.
All in all I'm very happy with my Co-Pilot.

Edit : To Add

Ok, might just be chrome lined, shit I can't remember and my paper work don't say squat. I do know it's park'ed with black stock.
Please don't tell anyone about this. LOL
