Scuba diving shops

My sister and her husband are coming out to visit us here in Chandler for the first time ever!!! They will be here December 3 through the 7th.

Now they just LOVE to scuba dive and wanted to know if there were any scuba shop in the area for them to window shop.

Anyone know of any GOOD scuba shops???

I know there is one on Gilbert and Baseline (SE Corner) Not too sure how good it is as I never have been in it. There use to be a good one (forgot the name) in Phoenix, Camelback rd Approx 1/2 mile west of 44th st. I use to live around there.

Probably one of the better ones in that area would be El Mar. Their web site is here, and they are at 2245 West Broadway in Mesa (near the Costco there on Broadway). They are a 5-star PADI shop with a good selection of gear.

Geek factoid: AZ has the highest per capita boat ownership in the US, probaby due to all of the lakes, the Colorado River, and you can boat all year 'round.

There's El Mar, and Dive Specialties in Phoenix, if you take them to Tucson there is a heck of a shop called AZ Dive Shop:
