Probably noon for me. Should have both nephews in tow. Sean is recovering nicely and has another 30 days of leave before the final surgery, then 30 more after that. I was going to give him a Kimber when he got home safe but he couldn't wait and bought a compact .40 a couple of weeks ago. Guess I'm building him an M4 now . A lower receiver, lower parts kit, and adj. stock furniture should just about do it. I'll be looking for some Q3131A but any NATO 55gr will do.

When I told Sean about LCR coming up he said he's on it! That would be awesome. Heard his Sgt. got shot in the foot by a friendly AD, not cool. His company sure hasn't gotten many breaks over there.

I sent an IM to CavVet to pick me up a couple boxes of tracers from James but I forgot that he has not been checking in here so if anyone sees him there or just feels like picking up a couple boxes of 55 gr 5.56 tracers to bring to the shoot for me I would appreciate it.  I'll be at the cabin come friday afternoon if anyone wants to come up.

The ones in the orange box?  I've shot about 7 or 8 boxes of them at the last pit shoots and don't think I had even one fail to ignite.

Sounds good.
I'll start the weekend at 0900/Buzz Inn/Monroe.

Gimme a chance to clarify the 'brass' thing with James.
Maybe bring him some new ammo I don't have a use for anymore.  Still in the boxes. <removed WTT details that belong in E/E... oh, and IM sent ;)>

Where's the Buzz Inn in Monroe?

I've got to pick up some ammo and look for a concealment holster. I like the Monroe show just as much as I do Puyallup. One reason might be because it's only 30 minutes from my house. :) Plus you can haul ammo right out to your truck and the parking lot is close.

East of where Hwy. 9 dumps off into town.  About 1/2 mile down on the right hand side.
( locals help me out here if the directions are turned around )

He means where 522/ SR2  dump into town, head east on 2, and look to the south side of the roadway about 1/4 mile from that intersection.

Not all of our favorite vendors were there, but there was a lot of people. R-32 bought some ancient artifact. I bought a few odds and ends, Phil spent a few bucks at the Booth That Shall Not Be Named and James cleaned out all of our wallets.

You forgot about the CavVet appearance on a Saturday!

Yes, yes I did go to the table that Shall Not be named, Seriously though I have to say that it looks good.
I don't have a parts kit ready for it so that report will have to wait.  Ya'll can check it out at the L/PCR shoot.

The 9mm magwell conversion do-hicky he has ready to go is super slick!  Uses Standard sten mags that need only a small cut to be made in the body for the standard AR mag catch and release to work.  It almost made me want a 9mm AR.  I never wanted one at all before so that is saying something.

I grabbed some HSM from James for the LCR shoot, he reports that things look bad for the future Q3131A supply.   He was out of tracers.

Stopped at CompUSA on the drive home and snagged 100DVDRs for $35 then popped into work to see if UPS had dropped off my Eagle Drag Bag when they picked up our ourgoing shipment long after I'd left for the day on Friday, and they had!  I tell you some of this "tactical" gear needs to come with instruction manuals, there are zippers, buttons, loops, buckles, shells, straps and snaps everywhere on this thing.

A great ARF turn out for the Monroe show.

I went to the show today (Sunday), James was out of .40 in the weight I wanted and was out of 12 gauge slugs.
Don't "need" any 223 or .45 or .22.
I did buy $150 worth of assorted mags from him though.

I would have bought another Shall be NameleSs lower if Oly had been there with a .40 upper to sell.

There sure were a lot of fucksticks there selling some solid gold and diamond encrusted AR15's.
They had to have been solid gold and diamond encrusted for the prices they wanted!!
I offered a guy $900 for an SP1 he had going for $1150, he told me to come back later.

I did have a table dweller offer me $125 for my Shall be NameleSs complete lower that I brought to find an REASONABLEY priced upper for.
I told him I would have to pass on his generous offer.

i ran into Shall be NameleSs , i showed him my pistol.

he brought so many stripped lowers he didnt have any completes so moved on, sucks oly didnt make it up,
i figure for the amount of time it takes to install a parts kit the extra 15.00 is worth it for a complete
it actually was more people due to the other shows
