Hi Everyone,

Here's a question for anyone. I picked up a S&W Mod 64-7 at the Dulles gun show. I found a paper from Mobile GSA between the foam and the box with an maintenance log. Anyone have any guess? I'm assuming that GSA (U.S.Government) cannot release weapons for re-sale, but something tells me that this batch may have came from a security company doing contract work in Mobile, AL.?

If it helps, the seller also had a number of S&W Mod 10's with rust issues for $150.00 ish.

If it wasn't a GSA contracted security firm, then I have no idea. The same seller had S&W Mod 4046's.

It could also be that there is no prohibition on selling them either.

It's quite possible that a company came in and supplied whatever agency with new guns and took the wheel guns in on trade. Then they sold them off to someone and eventually some ended up at Dark Sun.

How much?

I've been looking to get a replacement for one that I (stupidly) sold a few years back.

Even the Model 10 with the rust would be an option, as I would probably just refinish
it anyway, as it'll be a beat-around shooter, not a collectible.

The Mod 64 was $260.00. The rusty Mod 10's were 150.00. In true Afcom fashion, I got both
