Normally I consider the CMP North store to be the "happiest place on earth" and today was no exception. While I was there I started talking to a couple of guys from New York who had driven in from Buffalo to buy Garands while they stilll could. They were both veterans of Iraq and the Stan, both college educated but unable to find work in their fields and both very angry and frustrated by what their state leadership has done to them. Both were considering leaving New York forever and I told them that it was better to be the first rat off the sinking ship than the last one. As we parted way's in the parking lot it occured to me that "there but by the grace of god go we" my fellow Ohioians. John Kasich won't be governor forever, If we get complacent we could very easily end up having to make the same choices those two New Yorkers did, chosing between leaving our home state forever or surrendering our hard won constitutional rights. If your not a NRA member join, the organization has its flaws but it's the biggest, meanest dog we have in this fight. Join the Buckeye Firearms Assc if your not a member already, they do a good job keeping track of things at the state level.Above all stay active in this fight and never let a  chance past to educate someone about the things they will never hear from politicians and the media about responsible gun ownership.
