Not sure if this is the correct place to put this.
I built and gifted an AR15 to a now-ex-girlfriend many moons ago. Recently, she left town for vacation. She does not own a safe, but in my opinion did the right thing. She broke the AR down into upper, lower, magazine, and ammo. Her house was broken into, and ransacked. They stole everything from her tv, to her knives (she's a chef.....er cheffette?) Anyway, They found the AR pieces somehow.
Long story short, be on the lookout in the Tampa area for a blank and neon-pink AR, or parts. It was a 16" barrel, run of the mill foregrip (other than being neon pink), neon pink grip, neon pink saftey. I believe I used a dpms LPK, standard commercial 6 pos stock, and ar bcg. magpul 20rd mags.
It's a Delton lower serial number : B-3088
any help would be truly appreciated. My understanding is she's getting the run around from the police. Apparently a stolen AR15, and 20,000$ worth of personables isn't enough to be taken seriously in Tampa.
Arfcom, keep your eyes out for these scumbags.
I hope it turns up. Please don't be so hard on the LEO's though.
Life is not like a TV show.
Report the serial number to the FDLE
There should be a Hotline to report stolen guns to all
pawn shops and gun stores State wide.
Here are a few places to post your stolen AR:
