I have been thinking about buying a  new suppressed.22 pistol
I like the looks of the Sig Mosquito and I have seen a Walther with a
suppressor also. Looks play a large part of any purchase. If it looks good buy it right?
Are there negative experiences anyone can report using the SIG Mosquito?(function wise)
The Walther is a non starter in my book, I have a few American made Walther products
and would not recommend any of them including the  S&W  PPK Walther which has been under recall..
I also have a Inter-arms Walther PPK and is is a horrible example of American manufacturing.
a real POS, honestly a dangerous item to use and not in the least bit reliable
I would say a $45 price would be too much for this crappy PPK.
They are shit in my book, all except for the old German made Walther pistols.
So, is there any popular 22 pistols with suppressor combos I should look at before buying?
Your input would be appreciated, thanks

Browning Buckmark with a 4" Tactical Solutions threaded barrel, Checkmate can, and a small TNV red dot.

Super fun to shoot, plenty accurate and you can disassemble the can for cleaning.

I also have a P-22 ....... Can't hold a candle to the Buck.

We had a Sig Mosquito for use as a 10 year old's 3-gun pistol.  It jammed on everything we fed it.  Mixed mags, multiple ammo, didn't matter.  My Ruger 22/45 never hiccups.  Neither were used suppressed but have heard similar.  The Buckmark is a great pistol too. Re-post in the suppressor forum for more feedback.  I learned a lot prior to my ordering of my 3 cans.  Saved me some serious money.  Osprey is also a good resource as either he or Slug-o @ some time in history  has either played with, broke, &/or fixed almost every expensive toy I can think of.

I had this for awhile now.  I like the Gemtec Outback II.  This combo has never missed a beat and as you can see its always loaded.

I have the P22 and an Outback II and it runs like a champ. You don't really want to feed lead heads through a can though. Not good for them. Now with that said... I have seen several threads/pics on here of the Sig and they 'at one time' had issue with the slide breaking just behind the front site. They may have fixed this... I can't confirm it. There was some mention of poor aluminum castings for the slides. This was about 4 years ago when I was deciding on my Walther. I have nothing against Sig... but from my research at the time, the Walther was the way to go for me. Your milage may vary.

Which ever pistol you choose, I would only get a can that you can take apart to clean.

Couldn't believe the ammount of crap I have cleaned out of my Checkmate.

I'm a Sig Dealer - and I'm running a special on TB mosquitos right now.

I'm also a Silencerco dealer - and I've got the new Stainless Sparrow on the way in. If you'd like to demo either of them let me know but the Mosquito/Sparrow combo is very quiet and very popular. I demonstrate them out at the range every month for new gun club members and I have yet to see anyone disappointed in the performance.

My range program gun is a Sig Mosquito and it has run great! Besides the occasional double feed or dud - I run Federal bulk pack so that is to be expected, it has treated me well. The first time we ran the gun was with CCI Mini Mags and after about 150 rounds there were absolutely no issues at all.

my old P-22 runs umm ok One jam every 3-4 mags. with or w/o my OB II.

My Ruger mark III Hunter is STUPID accurate. Heavy for its size. I ran it till is jammed 1000 or so rds w/can. The oil mixed with unburned powder to make a nasty paste.

I bought a pistol from GoingQuiet a little while ago. He's a straight up guy, good to deal with.

No affiliation, just a customer who was treated well.

I'll second that recommendation. I've sold just about every version can out there. For the money & cleanable factor, it's hard to beat a Tac 65. For the cool factor, a Ruger 22/45 with a Gemtech Oasis upper or the Tac Sol. It's crazy light. It's nice to start with a muzzle can since you can swap it to a rifle or an AR with a .22 kit.
