I'm headed up to the SCACA Greenville show at the TD Center in the morning. Got a stainless Ruger Mini14 and 3 pistols that I am culling out of the herd.

It may be a bit icey dicey first thing in the morning then just rain the rest of the time. Anybody else going?

I was going to go and look/pick-up a few smalls I need... was it crowded today?   I walked that show for 3 hours last time looking at just about every table in there before I found the Sig 320 Compact I was looking for...I bought it and before I could get to the door I must have had 5 people ask me what I'm sellin'?!?!   Sharks I tell ya.. sharks!

It was a decent show.  The Show Director said that there was about 800 tables, +/-.  I think 3500ish people came through the gates?

From a vendor standpoint is was a decent show.  We didn't hit any home runs or anything like that.  We brought lots of guns to clearance out at the gun show and we did a pretty good job of doing that.  We were motivated to move stuff out.  $599 RAS47's.  $500 OTD Oracle's, etc.  Most of the stuff we brought was used handguns and we thinned the herd quite a bit.

I brought 'some' money because there were some things I needed - like a decent Garand.  I bumped into my old pal Wayne and I got a Mar 43 Springfield Garand with a match grade barrel for under $900 (cash).  I was looking for some used 1911's for myself but didn't see anything that said take me home baby.  Wayne also had a BM59 for $1800 but I just couldn't see myself spending that much money for a Holy Grail kind of gun.  I saw another guy with an A1 style 16" AR for $525 which I thought was a steal.

LOTS of good things at this show.  Come on.  Bring your money and take your time walking around - you'll see something you need.

IF you are coming for cheap AR's then bring your money.  I saw several dealers offering their AR's for under $500 just to move inventory.  Crazy.

I stopped by the show yesterday morning. As usual it's a big show with lots of tables.

Prices were good. Lots of ARs and pistols, and a good bit of milsurp rifles.

I picked up a nice used HK USP from Darrell at SC Gun Co at a great price.

Just got home a couple of hours ago. It was a pretty good show. As noted, lots of handguns and ARs, Some were at really good prices. I don't think the guys selling the high quality collectables and fine hunting Rifles and Shotguns did so well, It just wasn't that kind of buyer showing up. Sold some firearms and some other odds and ends, but was surprised at some stuff I priced very low that did not move. Picked up a couple of nice tactical slings and some 300 BLK ammo.

Magpul 30 rd no window gen 3 mags going for $10.00 each at 2 or more vendors. I think the damp weather kept down the number of carrying to sell guys coming in the front door, and probably tamped down the crowd a little. It was really crowded between about 10:30 and 1:30 Saturday, less so at other times.
