Flat end of the bullet goes in the case, and the pointy end towards target.

Gee thanks Matt

I was more looking towards ...powder/bullet weights and types

I know, I was just messing with you. I needed time to get my 308 data from upstairs.

One of my old loads was 168Sierras, 43gn Reloader15, Winchester and Lapua cases, seated to just over 2.750". I usually used Fed210M primers, but occasionally CCIs instead.

It's been a while since I loaded 308. I also have data for 155gn Palma bullets but it's in the loft somewhere and it's hot up there. Never had much luck with the 308 as it was a pain to extract. It's been rebarrelled now in 6.5-08 and it's much better. I've still got a 308 spare barrel for it but the 6.5 is so much more fun.

Matt

ETA: the 168s were Sierra HPBT, just in case you wanted to know.

I have found the following to be excellent in my AW, against our Fig 14 Targets out to 500M

175 SMK - 45.5gr V550 - Lapua Case to 2.008" - GM210M - OAL 2.795

Not really any change from the Vit loading data, but it works
