Well, apparently i have what they call "corrosive hands", and i managed to completely mess up the finish on my beretta.  does anyone know of a place in Washington that refinishes guns?  I don't want to send it back to beretta because if i'm going to get it refinished, i might as well get something a little more corrosion resistant.

Get some Molly Coat and do it yourself..

I have the same prob, the PH in my body is of a  very high acid content. drink more water, and look at your diet. Or do what I do, and shoot with gloves

I'd really prefer to have someone else do it, i really don't want to screw up. (but gloves sound like a good idea)

where are you located? I just refinished my .45 in the flat soccom black and it was easy and quick to do.

i still don't know, it seems like getting the rest of the current finish off might be a hassle, especially because there are a lot of little grooves to get
.  I"m currently located in Ellensburg, but i frequent the Auburn/Federal way area fairly often.
