What: Redwolf 2 Gun Challenge
Where: Angry Emu Range When: 05/21/2022 10AM - safety meeting/stage planning, overnight camping on Friday night for those interested There will be 5 stages which are generally created with input from everyone. At a minimum a pistol, rifle, ammo, & spare mags is generally all you need. Holsters, slings, & mag pouches are handy though. Ranges for pistols are generally 10-25 yards & 50-200 yards for rifles. 2-3 pistol (15rd mags) & 1-2 rifle mags (30rd mags) is usually enough to get through a stage. Round counts have been fairly low lately. Stages can include running, barriers, reloads, & other fun challenges we come up with as the day goes on. Feel free to ask any questions or offer suggestions. Participants: IHTFP08 YaBoyKGTho tok762 Proto3 0627Devildog +1 newb GAshooter11 +1 RattleCanAR BabyRattle |

This is Right up my alley but I’ve got a wedding that weekend to attend. If there’s another one in the works for sometime this year please post the details when you have them.
I am 75% sure I’ll make it but still tentative, also possible +1 family member.
100% out. I'll be riding around somewhere in a Brown truck all day.
Out. Have a bachelor party that weekend in NC. Hoping I can make the June shoot with a +1, maybe +2.
In, BabyRattle and I will be there.
We are doing an out and back from SC. |
We still a go?
The kid and I will be there around 0830. ?? I noticed my new snake picture updated. |

On a side note: the ticks have been pretty bad out here this year. I’d definitely bring some pretty heavy duty bug spray and use it liberally!

Regarding the health tick population, does treating clothing with Permethrin work?
What's the recommended bug spray? Ticks creep me out |

Ticks creep me out View Quote FWIW, I've been going out there for almost three years and I've found one tick that hadn't even bitten yet. I bought some spray with DEET just in case after Emu mentioned that. I've also got some permethrin that I've never used. Quoted: If I can get out of work a bit early I probably would. I won't know until Thursday though. View Quote Sounds good. Hope you'll make it! |

I'm not sure if I'll get out of here early or not, but I'm gonna try! What is the camping situation? Do I need to bring anything like firewood, fuel of other sorts, etc? Also, is the range sedan friendly? My truck is dead at the moment Are directions posted somewhere? If not, can someone send me a message with directions or GPS coordinates? |

I'm IM you the location. |

There wasn't much usable wood left from what I remember seeing in March.

Someone left a red camping chair behind. I put it under the grill, so it's somewhat out of the weather. I'm heading back to Atlanta tomorrow morning, if the owner wants me to do something different with it give me a shout! I can swing back by there on my way home.
I had a great time today, enjoyed meeting you all and looking forward to the next one! |

Don't burn it because it is a Gamecock chair (he is a student at USC) |
