What does everybody recommend?  I was thinking of using two.  One for the trigger and a cable lock to secure the upper and lower reievers together.

Please provide some details, like where to buy your higly recommend locks.  Some links regarding locks would be good to.

When I feel the need to secure my ARs, beyond that of a locked case or cabinet, I use a cable lock through the ejection port and down through the magwell.

IMHO, it is much more secure than a trigger lock, as the AR trigger guard can be removed with nothing more than a ballpoint pen, allowing the locked lock to be removed.

You can get cable locks for free from just about every PD in CT.
