Truprep and Cherokee used to be free but that went away. I used to drive 45 min to get a free xfer and whatever else was on sale. Now if I'm gonna be paying it may as well be close and just use a pawn shop in Roswell.

Truprep has a blurb on their site that claims they will go back to free transfers once demand falls, but I have to believe the revenue coming from transfers will be too good to let go. |

Preparedness Depot in Dallas gives you (1) Free transfer a month now apparently..... It's run by Former TruPrep folks that started their own spot.
(Bit far from Marietta though......) |

The original owners of Truprep(Wes was one I think)sold out?

Wes was the manager of TruPrep. He left and opened the Preparedness Depot in Dallas/Acworth.
Owners are the same folks that they’ve always been. I’m now the gun shop Manager at TruPrep, in addition to being the Armorer. Our transfers are $20, but we are going to be swapping it back to “X number of transfers free per month”. We haven’t worked out all the details, and I’m not sure when it will start. |

Hey Shep,
I can't remember if I asked you this before .... what was I going to ask? ... oh, Do you pin and weld AR muzzle brakes? |

"- NOT completing this form for us ahead of time and having firearms shipped to us, just because we are on file is a $25.00 Fee per gun." I've never had any issue with Cherokee gun and pawn, they don't have a list rules nor do they require a filled out form ahead of time. The only thing I don't like about Cherokee gun and pawn is the $20 transfer fee is per gun and not per form. Not sure about prepardness depot. |
