I'm headed to see my aunt and uncle in a few weekends in Hendersonville. I was wondering if there are any public ranges near there where we could shoot a rifle and handgun?

You can shoot rifles at Rex,s but its only a 25 yard range. No rifles at On target. Bears Arms has a 40 yard rifle range. The only close outdoor range is http://wncsportsmansclub.com/coppermine/thumbnails/album=2.html and that's about a 1 hour drive from hendersonville, also it is crowded on the weekends.



I try to make it out to Rexs every Tuesdays and most Saturdays, if your in town shoot me a PM and we'll kill some paper.

There's NOTHING out there that'll let you reach out farther than 100 yards?

Theirs the http://polkcountygunclub.org/ in Tryon, but you have to know a member to get in. Word on the "street" is that were suppose to get a new Wild Life range some where down in Deep Gap, but I am not holding my breath.



I forgot to mention that there is a 3 gun match at http://www.walnutgrove3gun.webs.com/ on the last Saturday of every month. I have not been to one but I heard they put on a good match.
