We need to move the dinner up a few hours.
A lot of us will be at the Tom Bean shoot. Can we make the dinner 5:00 pm. That way its really a dinner. Then most people at the shoot won't have to leave so early. |

You know, after reading ILL post. I just noticed that this was for 3PM. Here I was thinking it was for 7PM. Dunno what I was thinking about. Guess when someone says dinner, I think 7PM.
Oh well.....3....4....5....6 or 7. Me no care. Food can go down my belly at any hour. Wait till you guys see ETH if you have not seen him in the past month or so. That boy has lost some weight. He's starting to look like Barry Gibbs of the BeeGees again. Except shorter and grayer beard and he doesn't have that high pitch of a voice and a bit older and he speaks with souther accent and not quite that rich.

I've had an abrupt change in plans. I received a phone call late last night from my kin folks in Missouri. It seems a few of them have decided to take a vacation in Corpus Christi, and they will be driving through Austin sometime Sunday. Needless to say, I feel it is far more important to be here to greet them since it has been over 2 years since any relative of mine has seen fit to darken my doorway, and this is the FIRST time these relatives have come to visit me in 20 years. Please give Lord Trader my sincere regrets for not attending his farewell gathering. I am sure he will be back for a visit or two to the Hun Farm in the future as well as Gunstock, and I'll catch up with him then.

It was great seeing everybody again. Its been way too long. We certainly do have a superb group here, in DFW.
And props to our friends who travelled from Austin! Now its time to continue where I left off - drinking! Legs, I am seriously considering staying (like you suggested). Tonight reminded me of all the things the "other" place lacks. Good to see you again. Airborne! |
