Atlanta, August 21) -- Businessmen backing an outdoor public shooting range in Paulding County have pulled their proposal in the face of strong opposition from a handful of homeowners in the sparsely populated area targeted for development

Project leader Denise Kollenberg said they're "not giving up" but "looking for a better place" for the new gun range.

The public hearing set for Tuesday has been cancelled.

damnit, that would of been awesome to have another gun range in this area of the state, nothing is really convenient out here, except the one in temple and that one is low on my list of favorite places.................

I hope they can find somewhere else to put it

I am guessing it was someone from this board...Anyone? I would love a rifle range closer to me....Temple is closest but not a very friendly place to me either.....
