My work vans are being backed in so no one can sipon the massive tanks they have. Both my Envoy and Cherookee will be locked caps in my garage.

.gov Granholm aint going to help.

I have locking gas caps on my vehicles and fortunately for me, I can see my truck from where I sit at work.

But if someone were to poke a hole in the tank and put jugs underneath it, I'd be hosed.

Of course the.gov won't help.

Gas is taxed.

I once had a neighbor put a self-tapping petcock on my truck's tanks. I could never figure out why I had less gas on Monday than I did I Saturday.

We replaced the u-joints one day and we saw the petcocks...man was I mad.

I put 175.00 of gas in my boat two weeks ago after a day of using about 45 gallons cruising around lake st claire, so my boat was full of 2.75 cent premium, guess where i filled up my truck today, thats right in my back yard with a siphon, i guess its time to do a tune up and get some new tires.  God help us!  McM

She never had to collect pop bottles to put gas in the car. We allways pay for it for her.

I tried to a few years back to siphon some gas out of my wifes Durango during the "Blackout" and I couldn't get Shitz.... too many whiz-bangs in the way for the tube to snake down the neck of the tank ...

If you guy's know how to do this efficiently, PLEASE, IM/Email & let me know...    For the Next Blackout......   I need to know

I just visited my gas supply at the Shell station. It's safe and sound.
The storage fee went up alittle

Securing my gas tank never crossed my mind. I'm glad you posted this.
I have a 35G tank on the truck and work with a few less-than-upstanding types. Maybe I should invest in a locking gas cap.
