I decided to vote against Prop 19 , because George Sorros gave 1 Million Dollars to make it happen.
Also I hope everyone votes against Jerry Brown we already went through that once before.

I think the most important part of this election is Prop 23, which looks like it is ging to lose.  If it does and AB32 goes into effect, we're even more fooked than ever.  I don't see CA surviving AB32.  The little bit of industry that is left will leave, estimated 1.1 million jobs will be lost.  Yet the fucking morons in CA see propaganda ads showing smokestacks and talking about Texas oil companies so rather than take 2 minutes to read up, they just vote no when they have no idea what they are really doing.  Fuck this place, I hate it more and more everyday.  And, there is nothing we can about it unless the districts get redrawn to be competitive.

I'm voting no on 19.

It's poorly written, doesn't set any defined standards for testing, falsely claims to generate "billions" in tax revenue when they know this is unenforceable, and compromises safety.  We've already seen the results of driving under the influence of one legal intoxicant...so yeah, let's add one more level of impairment and see how well that goes.

I've voted no.  I can foresee doped up drivers on the road.

Can you guys elaborate a little more on this years line-up and props? I'm just now trying to read up on the candidates and issues, I've been so damn busy with the Navy and I'm leaving again here shortly for several months.

Wait a minute. Don't you mean YES on 23??? This will STOP the global warming initiative.

http://www.yeson23.com/

"Proposition 23 is particularly needed to protect Santa Clara’s small and medium businesses that have been hit particularly hard by the recession…The higher energy costs resulting from AB 32 will put our region’s businesses at a significant disadvantage with states and countries that have less draconian global warming regulations."

Proposition 23 would simply suspend California’s global warming plan until the economy stabilizes, we get people back to work and we can afford these investments.

Voting Yes on Prop 23 will SAVE:

  • Over 1.1 million jobs

  • Up to 60 percent in higher electricity rates

  • $3.7 billion a year in higher gasoline and diesel prices

  • Up to 56% increase in natural gas rates

  • Local governments from hundreds of millions in additional budget cuts

YES ON 23, the state will save more than one million jobs and avoid billions in higher energy costs. VOTE YES ON PROP 23!
