Damn,
I had my 'aviators' made just for that cool FOG look.
I will add a plus 1 to ESS ICE 2.4, I got mine from Stubby. The ESS RX insert works in my goggles too, one of the reasons I went with them. What I like about the ESS, I use them in the shop too, is that I can replace the outer ballistic lens for about 8 bucks when I ruin them, they have yet to make a sratch proof lens. I had my RX inserts made with 'safety polycarbonate' lens material, this gives me essentially double ballistic protection in front of my eyeballs. If your RX is really thick there might be a problem, one of the WI shooters wears 'coke bottles'
, and his inserts had a special holder that provided the clearance for the thick RX, I'll probably see him this weekend and see how they are working out. He had a different nosepiece and it seemed to me the RX was alittle close to his face, I thought that would contribute to excessive fogging.
I sweat like a river, keeping on top of PMCS with the anti fog cloth seems to do the trick to keep the fogging down. When it comes to glasses two is one and one is none, so I keep an extra pair handy. The price of the ESS can't be beat in my book, when fogging gets out of control I just swap glasses so I don't have to stop and de-fog.
