I'll be at the range before 8:00 so plan on being geared up and ready to go at 8:30

I'm looking forward to the class .

You may want to look at taking a northern route up there instead of I285 Book. I'm 10 min north of the perimeter on I75 and it takes me an hour to get up there.

Mike....could you post exactly how to get their from one of the major northern highways? Its a long way for me,just don't want to be late. I'm familiar with the area, just need specific route once off of a certain exit. Thanks!

the motel is just before  the intersection of 575/515 and hwy 53 on the West side of the road so you will pass the place using the directions above
if you cross hwy 53 you went 100 yds too far

I'm wearing shorts,  a t-shirt  & a glock

You mean the meth lab located at the range gate that says "Enter at your own risk?"

I must say....the class was excellent. The drills were top notch. Just going to watch national IDPA competitor Claude Warne demo the drills, was worth it in itself. Hes on the same level as Rob Leatham,Tod Jarrett,Doug Piatt,Brian Enos and the like. Its amazing to watch the speed and accuracy of a Master shooter in action. And all done with a box stock Glock 19 out of one of Mike's Talon Tactical kydex concealment holsters .Next time Mike and Claude offer this class and your wanting to get interested in competition or just hone your tactical skills and range savvy,it is worth every cent. Excellent facility as well up there behind the deliverance houses. We shot steel and probably put 250-300 rounds downrange. Can't wait for the Hackathorn class now. Thanks again Mike and Claude!

Guys feel like pickin' banjos after the shoot?

Seriously Mike is a good trainer and I need to get back out to one of his classes now that I'm a member there. I have a Talon Tac holster and mag holster for my Sig P220ST and they are both 100%. I put my Safariland on eBay.

It's one thing to be talented, it's another to be able to teach the skills as well.

This was a great way to spend a Saturday.  Claude and Mike kept it safe, fun, and fast-paced.

Thanks!

I've met the HeadHunter before (Claude) I don't know if I'd feel safe comparing him to any IPSC guys to his face. Claude is a serious guy and shooter, not a game player. Andy

Both are 4 gun Master class shooters in IDPA.  Meaning:

Stock Service Pistol
Enhanced Service Pistol
Custom Defense Pistol
Stock Service Revolver

No easy task in any much less all four divisions.

You're welcome. It helps a lot having a good holster; you'd be amazed at the difference in makes in your presentation and consequently your speed and accuracy.

The USPSA Grandmasters have taught me a lot. Rob Leatham and I were squaded together at the IDPA Nationals last year and I learned a lot from the experience. I'm an information slut; I'll take it from anybody and I don't care who teaches me as long as it's good. See you all at the Hack class. You will all have a good time and learn a lot.

I have seen VSP in action, he's a Grand Master in USPSA.  I would put my money on VSP vs. this Headhunter dude.
