I did ok considering I was using non-sighted in iron sites and had MASIVE jamming problems!

How many targets did you get on the long....looong range stage?

I was the first shooter on stage one.  (The looooong one)  I use a 20" Match H-bar with  TA31a ACOG.
got four hits.  That was a bitch.

I was shooting an EOTech.  

If I had it to do over again, I would have just shot the close target and then dumped 4 rounds down range and hauled ass to the next position and got as many in the 45 seconds as I could.

I couldn't get enough shots on the farther targets with the EOTech and with only 4 shots, not enough to "Kentucky Windage" it.  Fun match though.

Yea, I liked how fast the match went.  Can't wait to bring a rifle with a good scope out there (I've been using Iron sites).  I wish I could shoot the Sniper match but no M4 with an Aimpoint is going to do that.

I'm gonna try out the sniper match with my Colt + ACOG.  I havent shot that far with this set up before so I have no idea what will happen.  Its worth a try I guess.

600M is far w/ an ACOG.


I have a Remington 700 LTR.

The sniper match will be in the pits not the 600 yd range.  I would guess the long shots will be around 400 yds. Still an egg at 400yds is prtetty small.....

Yeah - a stage shooting from the top of the hill to the far end of the lake.... that would be a pinch!

I don't have zero info for my remington 700 out that far so I'd just be counting mils and holding over.  LOL.  I don't stand a chance.
