What days will you be there?

I need to know when the majority of the people will be there...

Also, what "GROUP-SIZED" cookware and food do you plan to bring? (i.e. stove, BBQ, smoker, charcoal, propane (for cooking!), brisket, brautworst, steaks, etc.)

I'm reserving 2 spots in the cabin for Friday night, maybe Saturday night. If I can get my tent, I won't need the cabin... (I think I have one now, but I have to check with my brother.)

How many spots are there hehe??? As ETH said before: first come first dibbs... but I'm sure things will work out.

-----------------------------

Also, I'm thinking I HAVE-NO-CLUE-NOW Night we can have a good ol' Texas BBQ... let's plan on that.

We need to plan the food, so we can have some other things besides large chunks of meet . Bunghole will need a blender...

Have a round trip ticket from Ft Worth to The Hun farm right in front of me:

 Sunday 12/29/2002:  Departure from Ft Worth @ 7:00Am, 8:00Am, or 9:00Am
Arrival to The Hun farm: 3 1/2 later.

 Tuesday 12/31/2002:  Departure from the Hun farm @ 1:00Pm, 2:00Pm, or 3:00Pm
Arrival to Ft Worth:  3 1/2 later.

Of course, the obvious transportation is by wheels.

I gotta work that Friday, but I'm cleared for Sat. and Sun., with Monday reserved for getting home and sobe....erm, unpacking.

Frisco, if you want to caravan out there, please get in touch with me.  I need a guide very mucho.

BTW, I'm planning on bringing basic "no cook" food, except for a couple o' BASS (Big *ss Steaks) for dinner.  I'm more than willing to wait in line for space on a grill.  (If I'm lucky, a drop or two of Balvenie might make the trip, too.)  I'll do my best to bring a spare propane tank - but Legs CANNOT SHOOT IT!

I'll be sleeping in the SUV - or at least trying to. heh

Hey guys: Don't forget to hit the beer/wine/liquor stores before you get to the farm, preferably before you get too far out of the DFW area! I think the nearest Beer/Wine (hard liquor?) store (I think there are 2) is about 30 minutes away from the farm, and it closes early, and good luck finding another one nearby! And half that time is driving on the dirt roads to get out of the place, assuming its dry. If its wet, plan on at least doubling that time, or more...

I'll be leaving thursday night/friday morning. Probably be showing up at the farm around 10am- noon. Depart probably tuesday morning. I'll probably be sleeping in my truck again.

I'll be bringing that BBQ pit again and the little card table. I'll pick up some paper plates, plastic utensals, a brisket maybe 2, some sodas, some kabassa, some charcoal and some bread. Anyone's welcome to cook anything they brought on the grill.

I'm thinking bringing MP5 SD, and M16 with me, and some other stuff.

I have a plan, and I hope it doesn't make me look like an a**hole.  If it's, I appologize, and I won't do it.

 1.  You can play with these toys.
 2.  Your ammo--for the SD: 124 grains factory ammo, 115 grns is OK, but will be louder. No reload!  If you don't have the ammo, I can let you use mine.
M16: 55 grns factory ammo, such as
        SA.  No reload or Wolf.
 3. You can pitch in a little $$--I don't care
how much--so we can donate to AR15.com/
    charity.

I think it's for the good cause and support the site at the same time.

Who would want to do this?  Let me know.
If it's a lousy idea, then I can scratch it off.

The AR50's down for trigger maintenance.  The Jewell gave us problems at Jeapers' place last month.  We pulled it apart at K2 Sports and sent it back to New Branufels for Jewell to tell us what's wrong.  Unlikely it will be back together in time for The Hun Pharm Philistines to enjoy.

Mojo, that sounds more than fair.  I'll be luggin' about 3K rounds of Lake City M193 (Lot 10) to the shoot...

If anyone has a .45 ACP toy, I'll have some kibble for that, too.

I'm loading my own...cheaper than buying loaded ammo....

A couple of good places:

www.ammoman.com
Nortwest Loading Supply

Either way, you better order soon or it won't make it before the shoot.

Red is the commonly available color.  If you want another color, you'll probably have to "roll your own" tracer.
