Hi all,

Got a little surprise when I returned from vacation yesterday. They gave me six weeks severance and insurance is good through the 30th. After that it's bread and water (unemployment don't go as far as it used to).

If anyone hears of an opening for an engineer (automation, control, manufacturing, process) in SE Michigan let me know.

TIA

Sorry to hear that. My dad was laid off 2 1/2 years ago. He never did find another job in his field. He is working right now though.

Boy, can't even go on vacation without worrying about if you'll have a job when you get back. Sorry to hear that and I hope something pans out for you!

When I get to work on Monday I will email you some details on an engineering job I saw posted in our internal job openings (it has been listed quite a while so perhaps they will take an outside resume). I think it focuses mainly on quality/process of our products used in the automotive industry in SE MI. Please IM me with your email address if interested.
