pretty cool. Do you guys use really light loads for the 1911 in this kind of match?

Well you do have to make a power factor. I used hangloads just at the bottom of the power factor for half the match and the rest plain old CCI Blazer.

Looks interesting. Is there a rule book for this posted online somewhere?

What is that machine the spotter is holding? Is scoring based on time or grouping?

Sorry for the noob questions.

Sorry for the noob questions.

http://www.uspsa.org/ Every thing you need to know is on that site. We also have a Fathers Day match on this Sunday and a 3-Gun match in a few weeks.

Scoring is based on how fast you run the stage and how accurate your shots were. The RO is holding a timer. Time starts when the buzzer goes off and stops on the last shot fired.

The LIPSA matches are all Sunday matches. The smaller Freeport IDPA-style and USPSA matches can be shot on Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning.
