Not sure, I wasnt working the day the bossman placed the order, so I dont know what we payed for them. I'll be sure to let you know when they come in. Not sure how true it is but I was told the black one's are limited production.         Udog

Do a search first on "Impact Guns" and then on their site: "P90" - they have a FAQ. Supposed to be MSRP just under $1500. Mags are about $60 each. Loaded ammo is still spendy though. Give Shooters a call 703 491 4867.

the FS2000 is what I am really after..  With the PS90 comming out.  My faith in FN is through the roof.  I hope to get on the pre-order list...

I am patiently waiting for the SCAR. There is also a lot of buzz about SigArms making a 55x available, but, I'd really rather have the SCAR (and this is from someone who exclusively uses Sig pistols).

Been shamelessly plugging my petition on every P90 topic. Up to 32signatures already. Has the potential to be a viable pliker no mater what your opinion of the stopping power is.

Ditto.

Perhaps if I see that S&B really does come through with mass produced 5.7 and the price comes way down, I'd get a PS90, but the way ammo prices are now, I just couldnt afford to do anything but look at it if I got one.

BTW, signed you petition, Koga.

Forget about plinking (is that even a word?) - we need to know - will it meet Minor power factor? Any word on accuracy out  to 300?  A 50 round magazine would be a significant advantage.

I dont think it will meet minor power factor in a pistol but the rifle never had a power factor rating that I know of because it never fits into any sort of rules. I would say that if secret service, USMC, and other swat units use it regularly and IDPA doesnt recognize it that it is the fault of IDPA for being to narrowminded to understand it. It still baffels me why people go out of their way to setup 223 shooters in 3 gun and sidematches. It isnt that 308 is bad it is just that there are other things that the majority of the world use at close range. Trying to handycap 223 to make things level for 308 just isnt realistic. I shot a 3gun match with my bw5SBR and it did great at knocking plates. IF it wasnt for the fact that the extractor was jacked it would have tied the 223s for acuracy at the range. Another testimate to why swat uses smaller calibers at close range.

USSS carries these.  I saw one of the UD guys, in black, the other day in DC with on strapped on.  Very nice.  There have been some performance issues, though. . . .

Im w/ you. The FS2000 looks like it *could* be a fun gun. Its unclear though how much real testing its gotten. Im esp concered about spend case exjection (how realiable it really is).

I talked with a USSS guy for quite some time about the P90.  I was at the White House and stopped him as he walked by.  He said (his opinion) that it's a great weapon for defeating armor, but it presents overpenetration issues on unprotected flesh.  He stated that for an unarmored suspect, he prefers a 9mm subgun.  Regardless...I'm buying at least one.

The gel tests don't agree with his opinion. In fact, it doesn't penetrate enough even without going through armor.

although, if the price of ammo does go down, (a whole lot) I may get one as well.  The idea of "standard" capacity mags = 50rds is a big plus.

Anybody know if a m16 Beta mag will fit in the FS2000?

A few years back I got to test fire one of these full auto; it was an LEO gun at a special event. I recall:

-never jammed all day & wes shot quite a bit

-the sensation through the optic was that the reticle just bounced arounf the center of the target; there was no muzzle rise like with other smgs.

I'll leave the 5.7 debate up to others; I only used the thing on a cardborad target (which was very easy to hit w/ this gun).

It's a WAG based on pics, but I'd say no what with how deep the mag looks like it sits in the 2000.
