We're in the first stage of a civil war, if they go for an outright ban on AW's or all semi autos, that could take it to another level.
If the SCOTUS refuses to hear the case(s) or step in to put whoever in check, someone(s) might decide to go for broke. The bad part is good people will get killed on both sides, others will get targeted just because of who they are or work for. Either way, it might take a full blown war to get the issue settled once and for all. I would not want to be the person that has to go door to door trying to get people to hand over their firearms. In the end, if you pull the trigger and they know who you are, you're going to prison. They won't care what your reasons are, they'll just see a murderer. Your best bet is that they offer amnesty/immunity for a cease fire. |

I don't see it going that way. The right is for "law & order". We have the most to lose and absolutely nothing to gain, nada, zero, zip,... zilch!
On the other hand, the left has everything to gain. They can do just about anything and still come out ahead, including starting the shooting and blaming it on the right. With CA law enforcement, the CA National Guard, the legislature and all media under their control, it might not go well for our side once they start the shooting. IMO, I hope there is time to leave California in an orderly manner before it is time to abandon California (as in refugee). . . . . Day Dreaming (or is it a nightmare) - Can you imagine trekking thru the Mojave desert to get to Arizona? What is the order of battle once the shooting starts? Who holds the passes towards the east and the access routes to them (I-10, I-40, I-80, I-15, etc)? Where's the first rally point, Tucson or Texas? 
Albuquerque seems to be a strategic place along the southern routes - watering hole, crossroads, and you'll need a place to lay over.
Is Radiator Springs a safe place to stop?

I believe the more ground we take the worse the left will act out. It’s gonna be a interesting couple of years. Read Karl Denninger; this man has it right. How does it start? Nobody knows, but given the misappropriation of power to the USSC, and wholesale cultural revolution that has been imposed through the USSC over the past 60 years, this is likely the flashpoint. The Left is going to come completely unglued, since they know that they will be closed off to cultural imposition through the courts for the lifetimes of everyone in the "back 9" of life. They will be all-in on the Brown Wave voting them into power, to which DJT is a direct threat. I've tried but failed to recall a single secular-progressive political movement of any note that has accepted defeat at the ballot box and supported the electoral results. Our Sec-Progs are on the cusp of realizing such a defeat. That's why I think we are close. From the Left's point of view, it's either accept defeat at the hands of people they truly believe are subhuman, or start shooting the subhumans. The Right looks at history of sec-prog genocide and economic ruin (see the original post in this thread by Karl), and how the Left wants their guns, and they are genuinely scared. I've posted at least 100 times on TF a video of how the FBI infiltrated the Weather Underground back in the 70s and how the principals in that organization were discussing the wholesale liquidation of 1/8 of the US population, which at the time was 25 million, because they wouldn't go along with "the new way of thinking." This would include Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorn. The civil war has been talked about quite a bit. Some foolishly believe it will follow the template of the previous two, which was largely geographically based, because both side fundamentally had the same culture. This won't happen. I live in a so-called "deep blue" state. Does anyone think that if the balloon goes up, I'm going to run out with my AR-15 and join the "Washington State Progressive Stormtrooper Brigade" just because I live here? No, what is going to happen is much more complex and simple at the same time. I am a conservative, White, male, Christian that is a veteran. My neighbor is a dope-smoking, atheist, Communist, attorney. He knows I am armed and knows my cultural preference. I know he is likely armed. If the shooting starts in St Louis, Chicago, Portland, and Metro Seattle, it will spread. If it is open season on conservatives, those getting shot are going to get nervous and itchy very quickly. How do I mow my lawn, given that my neighbor may shoot me dead? How does he smoke his dope in his back yard, given that he has the same fear from his gun collecting, kook-fringe, fascist, racist, neighbor that is just aching to force his dusty religion upon him? How do I fly airplanes, given that I can't leave the house? How does he take the ferry to Seattle to practice law? How does the Sheriff deputy leave his house, given that his two daughters would be in danger from his Democrat-Socialist neighbor? Who drives the food trucks? Who operates the local power plant? Who delivers the gasoline? Nobody. Society grinds to a halt, and there are too many guns and too much hatred (cultural) to impose any kind of order through martial law. The US is too big. Once the shooting gets underway, it is here for good. It will be neighbor on neighbor until ghettos are cleared out and warlords rise. It's not like everyone will be walking around with red and blue hats, to make the IFF easy. Every encounter will be "good Black or bad Black?" "Good White or bad White?" An article in today's news reported it an aide formerly working for both Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer who was illegally releasing the personal information of the Senators - their phone numbers and home addresses. The offender has been arrested.
This was certainly done with nefarious intent. The recent shooting at the softball game is an extreme example of why this should not be done. Harassing a family out for dinner or eating at home should not be done. At the very least it is disturbing the peace. |

So in the rapidly approaching election is DiFi gonna' beat pendejo ghost gunner or are her recent fuck ups going to ruin her re-election chances? A month ago on Real Clear Politics polling she was ahead of de leon by 35%. I don't see any updated polling and I don't think anyone other than us really cares anyway. I think she'll retain her office.
So a politically damaged feinstein in office or an activist POS freshman senator...which will be best? God just imagining kamala and ghost gunner in office simultaneously is...amusing. And embarrassing. |

Feinstein carries a lot of weight with her seniority in several committees. As can be seen by how she was able to get a lot of cooperation from Grassley. However as noted, she's going to be badly damaged. Her credibility and judgement are now suspect more than usual and on both sides of the aisle.
If the youth movement has it's full way, she will be gone. And the Junior Senator from CA will be a very junior Senator. Not going to be able to pull many plums for the state no matter who carries the Senate. Overall I'd like to see her lose with a GOP controlled Senate. Theoretically that's not good for CA, but I really think a weak u ultra-progressive is better for the country as a whole. The Dems are going to have to be seen as effective and relevant in the Red States to elect who ever is running in 2020. I'm guessing that means they need to make a hard turn to the middle. |

I've seen the bitch up close. She looks even older in person, gross walking dead old lady. She is also a asshole to her constituents. Didn't want nothing to do with them and they still kiss her ass. In regards to California, the rest of the country really doesn't care about this state. If Cali collapsed and crumbled the rest of the country could care less. If a true civil uprising happened I just wonder how many patriots from outside would come and help. Hopefully we can win the soft war and not find out. |

Feinstein's posture is classic bully/thug positioning with her victim trapped in a cubbyhole. She has her prey trapped.
Were I in that situation, I'd probably push her arm up and out of the way (as a statement) and walk away. I would never talk to anyone nor let them talk to me in that situation. |

Cox is within a few percentage points to win the Governor race.
Wouldn't it be prudent to vote for fineswine? She has a good chance of stepping down within a few years, given her age Voting for the swine also dicks with Kevin the Loin Cox can then appoint a Senator until an election could be held |

The figures may change slightly based on when the final tallies complete but I did some looking a day or so ago on vote totals. Mostly to see about how the voters handled a couple of the 2 party versus 1 party offices. Governor? 7,971,464. Senator? 7,045,964. 925,500 fewer votes cast in the Senate race. Lt. Governor - 6,619,548. 1,351,916 fewer votes cast in that race. So it seems likely that Cox did pull some voters in that may have helped some down ticket. OTOH, I'm not sure animus towards either Feinstein or DuhLeon, or both? shows up as much as a very lopsided campaign in the LtGov race. She got votes but a lot of people just passed on it. It's pretty much a nothing position but might look good on a resume on a higher level.
