Chinese? Hmmm...  Not interested.

I can think of a lot better things to do with my money than to hand it over to a country, that still has nukes pointed at us, for a toy.

I am begining to understand why as a boy my parents never let me have something like this, and as a grown up my wife won't let me get one either.

My first thought was to somehow mount four "Saiga" shotguns with drum magazines, onto the rear like quad 50"s, then have someone fly through a prairie dog town while you stood at the back pulling the trigger and having fun.

Chinese knock off ATVs have been flooding the market over the last several years.

They seem to have mostly decided to copy the Yamaha design in looks, and even in some parts compatibility  However, when you look at their cost compared to the real thing, the savings in negligible.

At 150cc and running them at 40MPH, I would expect them not too last too long, considering an ATV generally has an engine 3 times that size.  Oh, and good luck getting parts.

Quoted:

Quality is NOT the chinese major concern for sure.....I've got one buggy with a motor that leaves the classic pre 80's Harley oil puddle on the floor. I am sure the gaskets and assembly have alot to be desired. Oh, I know what I got into......and I refuse to pay alot for this stuff......bottom line.....Its fun. Can't get arrested for that, well, maybe if I break the law.

The neighbor has one of those Chinese farm tractors, like the kind Northern Tool sells.  He's had it about 5 years now...Still going, but it sounds like a bucket of bolts rattling around the yard.  Not sure how much longer it'll last, but who knows.....But again, for the cost involved, he could have had a 790 or 990 comparable Deere for not much more.
