Just thought I'd say howdy. I'm a LEO with a small city in East Texas. Full time detective/ part time SWAT guy. I'm assigned a Colt A2 Commando, but it's kept locked in the armory. They are starting to let us customize it to our on liking, and hopefully carry it in our take home car soon. Starting to get the itch to buy my own AR to play with. Lots more toys to buy than I've got money, though.

Anyway, just thought I'd introduce myself.

You can't find a better place on the Internet to hang out and meet and greet your fellow citizens from all over the nation, as well as some fine folks from other countries!

Take Striker, f'rinstance.

He's a Canadien, fercryingoutloud, and yet we gave him the key to the ARFCOM Yugo!

We have lunches that coincide with the Gun Shows in DFW, and then there's our annual meet in Waco, Texas coming up October 15-16-17!

Hey welcome! Yep, it's not cheap, but freedom, whatever the cost.

Just became a Bushmaster owner on friday. See other theread and pic.

This is a great site, full of information, but stay skeptical there's a lotta sh*t thrown around too :)
