Wasn't sure where to post this so if it's discouraged to post this here, I apologize. Last year was my 1st time hunting and I'm addicted.  I'd like to find a lease but I don't see much if any advertised and I don't know anyone that has or knows of a lease or place to hunt.  I'm 27 and looking to gather as much knowledge as I can. I'm in OKC area. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.

Advertise on craigs.list or the Shop and Swap.
Lots of old farmers look in those to price stuff like selling hunting leases or the price of used equipment.
ETA I don't know of any in my area. Mostly because the local game warden captain has been acting as a leasing agent for years. He finds a good lease, buys it cheap because he's the game warden, then sub-leases it for more cash.

Hummmm, sounds like all the duck cops I've ever met.  During deer season I have road hunters right in front of my house hunting, I've even taken pictures and challenged them, the local duck cop wouldnt answer his phone or respond.

Not all of them. I've met some damn good ones. The guy I described is one hell of a game player and has lots of influential friends. My gut feeling is he would have been fired a long time ago if his buddies didn't have so much say so with the ODWC.
I've sat on the tail gate drinking a beer while deer hunting with a buddy. He drove past and didn't stop. He came back by and wrote a ticket to my partner because he didn't have an orange cap with him.
It was in the front seat of my truck. When F explained that to him and said he'd call me to bring it back, he still wrote him the ticket.
He won't stop and check me ever.
But he sure doesn't much care for me.

Anybody claimed the case of ammo yet?  I'll take 45 acp.  And welcome to the madhouse!
