I was thinking of another North Texas Shoot-Out at Ralph's ranch. I have picked up some new NFA toys since the last one, and need to give them a good run before Gunstock 2004. How about September 19? That will give time to "update" your AR15 since AWB repealed, go to the Big Town Show on Saturday, and go shooting on Sunday?
I am thinking hot dogs, hamburgers C_mags and plenty of Tannerite. Can we get a count? |
Wow, a great weekend of shooting, first the Sanger subgun match on the 18th, then Ralph's range on the 19th. I'd be in...
I just got in from the range (white32golf also ), talked to Ralph and we are a go for the 19th
I'd love to come, but I'd be out of town. (at college). When I get back for spring break, if some there knows Garands, maybe someone can inspect mine and all will be well

I'd like to drop by and say hi. I'd need directions from 360/I-30 intersection.

Count me in!
We're talking Tom Bean, Texas, right? Eric The(Cool!)Hun |

Is FMJ ammo allowed?
Also, would anyone considering bringing a .223 suppressor? I am trying to decide whether to buy a Gemtech or AAC and have yet to shoot either. If someone has one and wouldn't mind me "testing" it out I'd LOVE to shoot a few rounds through it! Thanks. Nick |
I should be there. My can is not a dedicated .223, but you are welcome to try it. Mine works best on .308 and 9mm. TRG |
Anything legal is allowed. There will be plenty of machine guns and suppressors there. And Tannerite. |
You're gay! |
I'll try, but I gotta bachelor party out of town.... I'll have to be a maybe.

Whenever you show up, Ralph has no hours. Come play, be safe, be reasonable, clean up after yourself, and pay the range fee ($3 per hour).
C&L- still the $5 all day range fee for us on the day of the shoot? |
actually the norm for range fees are $5 per person per hr, however you are correct the ARFCOM discount is $5 per person per day, we have lights for night shooting, smoker on site, and pavilion Need stands, targets ( I have b27 ) wood if you want to use the smoker, the BBQ grill is gone so if you want to grill something bring one along, and the want to burn ammo, LOTS of AMMO ! adult beverages are allowed AFTER the range goes cold we normally start arriving around 10am, some sooner |
I doubt it, I checked that before starting this thread, and they were looking at September 12-18. |
Cool, thank you. |

From LT Party Thread. I don't see why we can't do both. |

Thanks. I can't believe that I live in Sherman and that I've never been there. I'll fix that shortly though. Michael |

Hell, I live only ten minutes away, I'll stop by for an hour or so.
I will be there.
What is the address of the range? How to get there? Thanks, |
You are the fastest guy in the slow group. TRG |

LT's dinner is that day too.
Not that it matters, but the date for this was set before reservations were made....
Well, the real kicker was that Lordtrader's last day in Texas is Sept 24th. That's what drove the reservation date for Bonedaddy's for the 19th. Sundays are lousy days for those of us who go to Church....the last time that I went out to Tom Bean for a shoot, I arrived at 2:00 just in time to see almost everyone leaving. Yes there were a bunch of those that left early but the core crew stuck around until later that evening, the rain earlier that day had alot to do with it as we had plans to shoot on into the night. I know of at least three or four that havent posted here comming on Sunday, and another one or two that are comming that may convert to the evil/black side ( one is a black powder guy) I know there are several other events planned and the attendance may not be as large as normal for our get togethers but this is for fun anyway not for a show of force so lets just do it and have fun if anyone is looking to pick up some mags I still have a few left and will bring em (30s and 20s) |
