I went through the Anoka Area around 1730 and it was raining buckets....wipers on high could not keep up.  I turn off County Road 7 about 2 miles south of St Francis and about halfway into my neighborhood a tree is across the road......was able to get by on the shoulder though.

House is Ok!

Elko here.  Dents on old truck parked in driveway and new cracks in the windshield.  House seems otherwise fine.

I got REALLY lucky.  I had my garage door replaced this morning (old one was rotted out, had broken spring).  As a result, both my boat and race car were sitting outside.  Because it looked like it was going to rain and I just got done detailing the boat this weekend, I ran home during lunch to move that stuff back inside.

Two hours later my neighbor called me to tell me our neighborhood was getting pounded by golfball sized hail.

Thank god for small miracles.

Plymouth (near 494/55).  Just wet and some leaves in the yard.  No damage that I could see.

Didn't get any hail.  I could have used a new roof

My Blazer now does a passable immitation of a golfball.

I work in Anoka, live in Plymouth. I called the wife to make sure everything was ok at home and she said that at that point it hadn't even rained yet.

Had golfball size hail out here yesterday morning.  No new damage to the Jeep!

Not much activity last night though.

No hail at my house only heavy rain. I work and live in Ramsey, but the line between ramsey and anoka runs thru my industrial park. The wife was happy that her "toaster" didn't sustain any damage. From talking to some of the guys at work we missed the hail by a half mile or so.

No hail here, but the risk of being zapped was above average.

My new roof has some spots that I have to have checked out, we had some big assed hail in Anoka

Yeah insurance companies are going to love this area.  1/2 my neighbors had new roofs put on this spring/summer.  My guess is some of them will need new roofs again.  I think I may have some damage myself.  I looked right after the storm went through, but the roof was wet so I didn't get a real good look at it.  Looked at my hot tub cover this morning though, and there is a lot of "shingle sand" on it.
