A round of .223 in a 7.62 x 39 chamber will lock things up tighter than shit!  perhaps ATLGA can give us more details...

I ain't sayin' nothin'.

Okay, I'll say it.  ATLGA loaded his AK with a 5.56 round.   I'll let him tell the rest.

When did this happen?

It happened Saturday.  In his defense, the round was laying on the bench when he dumped his ammo to load mags.  Both the rogue round and the ammo he was shooting were Wolf so they blended together rather easily.  During the whole affair, ATLGA did keep the weapon pointed downrange so the potential danger was minimal.

Holy Mosses! I felt like such a noob! Yeah as explained I managed in my frantic race to load more mags and put more lead downrange...tooo grab a green cased 556 round in my pile of green cased .30 wolf brand. It somehow got on my table ....Now I should have noticed the difference, but needless to say I had a couple other things I was paying attention too. Anyway I had a damn blast on Sat!!!  got to work on my ak for an hour as usual!!!

Big thanks to Brad for helping me remove that round from my the chamber. He and I decided it would be best to use the support post for the roof of the building to " push " the carrier back.
