Cactus Arms have unveiled their new LH cocking AR in this months Shooting Sports

Anyone seen it yet ? Shame its not Ambi-cocking IMO, that would probably be the icing on the cake for me.

Any chance of being able to read the text?

It's not green by the looks of it. It's proper Sopmod tan. It's an official colour and evrything...

Just seen it's Pete Moore.

Does he start the review with "Back in the glory days before the ban" or "When I was in the Army" ???

Anything can be modified, and I'm surprised he didn't have the bottle, or the facilities, to modify the right hand side.
Personally, I'd hacksaw and mill the fuck out of it, as I will do when I get mine.

Ron Flint, the name sounds familiar

The reciever is a little odd in that it doesn't have a T-Handle, but looks to have plenty of material on the right side for the milling machine...

Just spoke to Pete Moore, it seems the lower's engraved with Ted's Gunsmithing, Deland Fl.
According to Pete, Ron Flint's work has never been great, but this rifle is high quality, leading him, and me, to believe that they are built by someone else. Probably Ted's, who I imagine is building them from 80% lowers.
Also, the std rifle will come with a Hogue fore-end and not the quad rail one as pictured.

Got the pdf thanks!

Did you read it though, you can pay extra for a personalised serial number?

What??!!??

Who is he kidding? I can have any serial number I like if I ask my dealer to mill mine off and change it.

So this guy instead of putting on his standard serial will put a different one on for you and no doubt charge the earth to do it for you. Mad.

The stock is shit too.

Ergo grip is nice, the foreend is nice too, the production gun with the hogue will look gash.

I prefer Matt's stuff.....

yeah ive got to agree, having seen clayo's Baby, i like Matt's Work too,

custom serial number?? what a load of rubish... what i'd relly like now is a Colt M4 marked Straight Pull

Wonder how much he'd charge for that

It's not that hard. You just need to find brand new in packet Colt Receivers. I found some but the price was more than just Buying Rock River.

My new quest is to build a M4gery with LEO/Goverment use only on everything.....

hmmm nice.... I faniceid one of thoses custom engraved lowers.... with HK fire control symbols and For Civilian Use Only on it!

I'd rather spend ££££ on stuff that would make the rifle shoot better than a fancy serial number, but someone might want to do I suppose.....hacko.gif

Hate to say this, but I've already got a couple marked up like that.
My original Olympic and the Bushmaster M4gery.

On a side note, I commend this guy for trying but think he's missed the boat/point somewhat

I'm single again now though, So I'm gonna be catching up with all this spare money I will have!!!

Why have one when you can have two

The problem is....you're just a latecomer. Nothing wrong with that.
The early Olympics were stamped "Export and Law Enforcement Only"
The Bushmaster's marked "Restricted Law Enforcement/Government Use Only"
Doesn't make much sense to anyone

So you're free and single eh?? The world will be your oyster
