Need 4 more mags to meet the  required 6 minimum for a class down there. Anyone know where I can get some? 10 or 12, it doesn't really matter. Do gunstores down there stock USP45f mags? We couldn't find any around here that weren't in a display pistol. Thanks.

Option B is use a 1911 or pick up some mags and a holster for one of the Glocks that rarely leave the safe. We don't want to go that way if we don't have to.

BTW, I'm not the one who screwed up my brother was supposed to order mags for my USP (my dad is using it) but he didn't request two day or overnight shipping and they haven't arrived.

Thanks guys.

ETA: Made the title more interesting.

We fly in tomorrow. Staying 6 miles from Gunsite in Paulden. I'll be in Phoenix the night of the 7th though, flying out on the morning of the 8th. I was thinking about trying to get some guys together for dinner and putting some more screenames with faces.

Taking a USP to Gunsite. Poor bastard! Hopefully it's not a variant one.

My last pistol class up there one student had a USP. The instructor told him he would hate is pistol by the end of the week. In only took until day three.

Nothing like riding the ragged edge of disaster.

Depending on when you arrive tomorrow, you might want to call or stop in at Arizona Tactical

The store is about 1/2 mile off I 17 at Indian School Road.
If you're flying into Phoenix, you'll drive right past it as you're heading north.

You can call them ahead to see if they have what you want.

Why was that?  And yes, it is a V1.  It was either that or a Glock.

Why would he hate the USP? I shot the Practical class with mine and then shot IDPA that night. Ended up shooting about 700 rounds in about 14 hours or so. Yes, my hand was sore, but I shot great for the match and I feel it was one of the best classes I ever took. I took it at Caswell's but the class is based on the one from Gunsite. It's where all the staff is qualified at.

I loved my USP. I have shot some really great strings with it.

I carry a Sig 220 now, am I going to hate that as well?

Thanks guys. Stopped and stocked up on everything but mags at AZ shooters supply. He did the whole class with 3 mags, which worked out just fine. Shot well, the USP worked fine (had to black out the back white dots on the sights though).
