Hello to all Carolinas!  I am a receint transplant from Georgia and since being in the Concord, NC, I have quickly figured out that there are VERY few places to go and shoot.  I have a wife and 13 yo son who enjoy shooting as well and are looking for a place to go.  Can the hive post some places to shoot that accomodate rifles and pistols?  

I am comfortable with clubs or member shooting ranges and have no experience with any in the Concord, NC area.  Help!!

The to clubs I know of are in Wilksboro and watuga county but the are 1 1/2 and 2 hours away from you.

It is a short drive from concord it takes me about 15-20 minutes to get there. Let me know if I can help.

It may be a little bit more than you want to drive but Flintrock range out in uwharrie National forest is a decent place to shoot. 3bucks a trip or 30 bucks a year. There are details to it in the range thread.

although i am not a member there, my cousin is as are a few friends ( i shoot there often ) it's a good club

up to a 200 yard rifle range, a slew of pistol bays, trap/skeet, a fishing pond, and almost everyone i've met there were good folks.

the only ass i've ever met there was an ex mil know-it-all type, who felt it nessesary to tell me how to bore sight my rifle, while i had the bolt out and was looking down the bore

Eagle Guns will be opening their 25m indoor pistol/rifle range sometime in the coming fall (building it right now.)

They are towards the speedway on Roberta Church Road.
